First impressions of #China 🇨🇳 airport:

- cameras everywhere, really visible and noticeable

- Damus works smooth 🤙🏾

- No manual stairs, all moving staircases

I would be interested in your mobile stack on your travels: are you experiencing issues with the great firewall?

Are you using a VPN? If so which provider and protocol?

Any other fishy things? Did they search your phone on arrival?

I booked some data via holatly upfront actually.

That worked very well I have to say. Only with that data I could basically do anything.

WiFi of Hotel did always block western social media.

No phone search on arrival.

VPN yes, I tried it also at the beginning, but had the impression it did not work consistently…
