I asked my aunt to cornrow my hair, she refused (she's the only one who can properly), she said I have too much hair to manage.

pretty nice grow out phase. Your hair grows pretty fast.

Why don’t you try the one or two twist braid?

Do you wear your hair natural all the time?

I wear a bonnet 24/5, try to keep my hair in a protective style until I'm ready to wash it and decide what I really wanna do with it lol.

😮‍💨It would literally take her about 20 mins.

If I try to do it myself it takes over an hour and I can only section and plait my hair (the kind of loose braids) instead of cornrow (the braids against the scalp).

I feel like I’ve seen people with cornrows that turn into braids…? Is that always weave? I assumed it was their hair

Not always! But it's definitely a common practice it really depends on the stylist and the patron.
