You are driving when another car breaks the rules and scratches your vehicle. The car stops, and an enraged woman jumps out, screaming at you and claiming it was your fault, even though it wasn't. When she sees that you don't react, she breaks your mirror and then lunges at you, trying to harm you.

What do you do?

My instinct is to break her mirror with a kick and yell at her is such a way that she thinks I'm a crazy psychopath. I bet she would run away

Congratulation. You are as dumb and reactive as her. She may be a great person, actually, but circumstances were harsher than she could take.

What if later you realize she was your friends wife?

I don't care I'm fed up of crazy people. Behave or kicks in the face. It's just as simple. I'm not justifying anybody anymore.
