Is this a known issue?

Never happened to me .. I use Alby for logging in extensively ..

never heard of this.

is that in any particular client?

(and you don't have any Alby prompt accidentally in the background?)

I have this issue with primal and iris and other clients as well.

I regularly check if the prompt is in the background but I don't see one.

any tips how I can debug this? should I see something in the terminal?

yes, you could check what's in the console then: https://guides.getalby.com/user-guide/alby-account-and-browser-extension/alby-browser-extension/debugging

especially what it logs then when you try to do some actions.

ok will do, pretty sure I will run into it very soon. irrc, I didn't see anything in the logs and the apps just "lock up" (nothing happens when I press a post button or try to like a post etc).

which browser is it?

thanks. check the website's console then and the extension console. and let me know.
