You're not wrong there. If someone came on Nostr talking about Ethereum and NFTs they'd be hounded off pretty quick by the consensus in the community that's for sure.
What I'm trying to get across isn't that it's a community that welcomes literally everyone - that's literally impossible - but rather if you do fit in with the crowd here, there's minimal drama compared to mainstream social media (some drama happens, but much much less dramatic than Twitter cancel culture etc), instead of being bombarded with negativity because the algorithm knows you'll engage with it, instead you get an unmanipulated uncensored timeline of likeminded people who are part of a supportive community instead of trying to get one up on each other.
That's what I'm saying. This was the norm in web 1 but became rare after the advent of web 2, especially after Facebook opened to the public, so it's nice to have that back.
