That can only be Interoperable if you pay to post on their relay. Which is only profitable if that relay is high signal. That probably means they'll have to curate for specific niches.
People need reasons to use them as their "publication house". Monopoly is not a valid reason.
It’s just kind 1 notes, so they’ll appear in any Nostr app. They just get special treatment on their app. They put some kind hash in the tags of the note. I think that’s to verify someone paid.

In addition, there is the uncensored notes too which is attached to the flash news and have a separate rewards system.
