it was audacious, and audacious was their jam, so I understand how they wound up where they did

but the roulette wheel tends to take it all back eventually

I think it was just about clock management. An incomplete pass stops the clock. A run would burn a lot of time if it doesn’t convert to a touchdown. Butler just made a great play. I think more credit should go to him than blame going to the play call. That’s just my opinion. I play madden the same way.
