I should clarify

When I say “some people”

I’m really talking about mentally ill people that desperately need help

It was inspired by an interaction I had today with a user who is obviously mentally unstable and instead of seeking professional help, they come to nostr to be as negative and insufferable as they possibly can be

I don’t think that’s healthy, I think instead it’s probably making the person waaaaaaay worst. Which is why I say they shouldn’t have internet access, that oughta be a privilege, they oughta go through some treatment before they can engage with society.

We’re not gonna help this person get better, we just aren’t. For one they don’t want to get better and for two who are we to diagnose and treat this mfer?
