Gonna be honest, had not heard people discuss communism in ages. before joining Nostr. I thought it was pretty much extinct and out of the discussion.

By "here" I'm referring to political movements globally.
But yes, it's always been on Nostr as well.
Socialism and communism are not the same ideas. They are both a rejection of capitalism.
Labels. I can slap labels on anything. You call it a capitalist, I call it a “1% socialist”
When labels are used to divide. Both sides of the divide suffer. But sadly many people do not seem capable of thinking outside bipolar, black or white.
The power that comes leveraging that feelings we have towards “the others”
