Probably unpopular opinion:

Noncustodial #zaps on #Nostr are simply not worth the headache. It's a nightmare that I'm giving up on.

Since I set up my Zeus wallet a few months ago I haven't had no issues zapping or receiving. I just opened A 120000 sat channel on Zeus, and that's what I'm working with.

Nice to hear. I've had little beyond issues with it.

Well i dont try to do anything fancy. I dont even zap with the nwc thing or whatever its called. Tap to zap ya i dont have any of that setup straight old school style hahaa

We differ on defining that as fancy. That's core functionality in my opinion and it fails miserably at being a wallet 99% of the time for me. I wanted it to be my entire wallet, not just something I use for the one or two bits that work. I don't care to switch between apps to cobble together a usuable experience. I'm just not going to use it anymore. That's what a free market is. It'll survive amongst those willing to waste time on it (it's a waste of time in my opinion, but maybe not other people's)

To be clear, it actually does work well WHEN it works. Unfortunately, that's rare enough to annoy me.

To clarify, I mean Lightning based zaps. In fact, this is my opinion of noncustodial #Lightning in general. It sucks ass.
