In my experience #lightning works well for small payments <100000 sats consistently. for amounts>500000 sats, it is a hit or miss.

This is across both custodial and non custodial wallets. Tricks I use is in circumventing this is to half payments on each attempt.

It is good to be honest about these issues.

#Bitcoin needs more scaling solutions.

anything over 300k i'm doing on chain anyway. not that i disagree about being honest about scaling issues, but for me, that's #lightning working for what it's needed for
