I believe that the law is a tutor. It is not the end. God himself is the end and the fulfillment of the law.
The law of love, which Jesus calls us to, teaches us to exceed the law and even be free from it. You've heard it said [the law], but I say [Jesus' words]. And, as Paul says, the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.
