Any woodworkers in the house?

Built this a few years for my sister. Walnut Hexagon shelf (1 of 3), sanded to 220, finished with Danish oil and a 400 grit fine sanding.

I need to get back to building stuff with wood! Itโ€™s such a blast!

Itโ€™s been yrs for me and a saw also

Itโ€™s there waiting for both of us then

Definitely, Iโ€™m a welder also can do mix up of the two

๐Ÿคœ I would love to learn welding. Have some ideas for stuff to fabricate.

Itโ€™s not that hard, just learn to weave your beads, you can get one of those portable 110 ones and practice, loads of tutorials on YouTube compared to when i learnt, I had a good teacher who was passionate about teaching back then

Cherry dartboard case :)

Beautiful! Love the joinery!! ๐Ÿ‘€โค๏ธ you make the handle too? Looks wooden.

Yes bloodwood handles! Lots of hours sunk into that beauty. Have had it for a couple of years now and not thrown a dart at it yet. Waiting to hang it on the wall of my first house

Tongue And groove joins or ....? Do tell....

Donโ€™t shoot/sue me. Just mitered and glued together with some very small pin nails to hold in place while glue set. Not sophisticated joinery unfortunately!

The wood you chose looks spectacular ๐Ÿ‘Œ
