Fascinating listen! I ponder it from a defensive and peacetime POV.

I think each of us will need to cultivate a machine presence to defend the humanity we have and extend our consciousness into the future.

AI agents that defend us, agents that represent us, and agents that carry our dreams and visions forward when we’re gone. Humanity is the system of systems behind it all.
