the old ones remember netscape. mozilla is the same organisation, still run by mostly the same people and from the same corporate culture.

rust is an ugly, hard to read, and ridiculously complex language, and has features that you don't need, that just make it so none of y'alls bullshit is gonna compile in 5 years time.

meanwhile, because #golang was designed by guys who have been in the business of making programming languages since the 70s, i can still compile code written over 10 years ago, in fact it's more like 15 years ago now.

it's only because you are all a bunch of youngling dupes who have drank all the kool-aid and don't know computer science anymore because they hardly teach it to anyone, that you think rust is good.

it's not good.

it's C++ without objects, and with all the insane complexity, a ridiculously complex memory management scheme, and syntax that is unreadable.

you'll all get it eventually. that's the thing about being older. you see many idiotic mistakes being made, and you remember them, and when people do them again, you are 50 times facepalm at how stupid they are to do this.

they do it because they are unaware of history. erasing history is the main mission of communism. anyone who makes the same mistakes again, and then doubles down by promoting the adoption of those mistakes, is a communist retard.
