Concorde. London to new York in 3.5 hours.. We are actively going backwards. We are not trying to go forward. Boeing and Airbus have no incentive to go forward.. There's no way for a new company to come in.

Backwards is a trend easily fallen into. The Brits can't build mega stadia any more. The French can because they keep practicing.
Concord was amazing. I'm not into cars and planes, but seeing it regularly up close, it was awe inspiring. Beautiful and surprisingly small for something so insanely loud.
