When the US collapses, MANY people are either going to go violently insane or quietly kill themselves at the realization that the MK Ultra propaganda that has controlled their entire lives is gone and is never coming back. It'd be like ripping the rudder off a ship in a hurricane, they wouldn't be able to live without it. This is true for both a Yugoslavia style balkanization and a Rome/Germany style formation of an Autocratic state.
