When you save it to the home screen, does it show up as full screen app without any navigation bar?

Does scrolling work smoothly?

Do videos work?

I can install it to the home screen with chrome and it becomes a full screen app withouta navigation bar. The icon does have a little chrome circle thing to indicate it's a web app.

When I start the app the first couple of pages stutter a bit and the images seem to flash between the current image and the next.

After 3 or 4 images this goes away and it's very smooth. Video works smoothly.

Great, thanks for testing... that sounds promising.

The initial lags are present on iOS as well and that's due to the way events are sorted by date. I need to think of clever way around that.
