Update: My countdown to my Nostrica trip is 30 days. I had a conversation about a marathon with a best friend who is running & another good friend is in competitive sports. They thought I should share my story with my nostrich fam.
Before I was in a gas leak in 2019, I was a lifeguard & pro-swimmer alongside normal life. So, my athlete friends are helping me get back to swimming at a pro-scale. I’ve lost about 24 lbs of hospital weight, with about 20 more to go!
On Jan. 31, 2023 of this year, my doctors made it official that my lungs, including my whole body, are fully recovered from CO-poisoning (fatal injuries).
I spent about 200+ weeks, nearly 4 years, under strict quarantine & bed-ridden. Doctors just gave me permission to get back to my normal life & break quarantine - which actually, was a life always about swimming, hiking, running, exploring the world! 🌎 & my lung doctor is EXCITED 😆✨ for me to breath the air in Central America! 🪐💫☄️
