To me it doesn’t sound like a decentralized system. If it would be, how can it makes money ???

Tether is a company. They never claimed to be decentralized. They make money from investing the dollars paid into the system, and from the spread when trading to keep the exchange rate stable.

Danke vielmals für die Richtigstellung. Das ist im Moment ein sehr lukratives Geschäft. Kurze Zinsen auf den gehaltenen Staatsanleihen sind hoch und an den Kunden müsses Sie ja nichts abgeben. Richtig oder?
