i think I'd be more put off by them having the wrong books.
I mean, Mein Kampf is not my cup of tea, but it could lead to kinky things in the bedroom with the right guardrails...

Ultimately I don't think any book is inherently bad. But a lack of them says something about the person.
perhaps, though I know people that don't own a single book yet read at the library daily.
I only bother buying old oop books.
