I think your points are valid and people should understand the risk they take before running a lightning node.

I just happen to also think that we need more node runners and there are lots of people who still could and should run one but aren't. A good place to find those people is nostr.

If you did it for a year and quit because you lost a few sats according to your dashboard, you are one of those people. Your heart was in the wrong place last time. Please rethink the why and join us again.
