A permaculture pilgrimage in a way today, staying in Stanley, Tasmania, the birth place of Bill Mollison. Some pictures of the town from The Nut, a volcanic rock that rises above the place. nostr:npub1lwy7trur3d7hz65gxq82rujnnllhsan25yfpasgfdzmtzzjf3u5q0v4zv0

Stanley is such an underrated place. As a bloke with a huge left nut, it's my spiritual home

Wow it looks really nice, thanks for showing us that. Isn't it also where his crazy whale story took place? 😁

You'll have to tell that tale, I've never heard it. He was a fisherman for a while wasn't he?

Yeah I think this was when he was little, he is talking about what all the kids did with the whale and I think he was party of that group. It's used to be on YouTube...but being YouTube it probably isn't there so hopefully someone has posted it elsewhere too. I shall go hunt it down.

The clip has been removed from YouTube I think because the whole course was uploaded and this also got taken down with the copyright claim, so I am going to listen to the the whole pdc again find where it is a clip it and upload it.

Nice, thanks.

Looks like an amazing trip. Enjoy!

Thanks, should be awesome with more pics to follow.

Tasmania is in my bucket list. Beautiful place

You won't regret it, fantastic fresh food, awesome landscapes.

I must go there!
