In a small Chinese village there lived a good-natured old man. One day he found an abandoned puppy while working on a farm. The baby was dirty and very weak. The man felt sorry for the stray dog, thinking that all his children had already grown up and gone to work in the big city. He was left completely alone. So the man decided to take the puppy home.

The old man took the dog, which could soon die from hunger and cold. He looked after her well, bathed and fed her. Gradually the dog grew. Every day she became stronger, stronger and bigger.

The animal was very grateful to the old man for his care. The dog often helped his savior, doing everything in his power when the old man was engaged in farming. The old man and the dog were always close. They became very attached to each other. The connection between them became stronger and stronger.

However, the dog became larger and larger.

He already weighed almost 300 kilograms! A bear can weigh about the same. The alarmed old man suspected something was wrong. Out of fear of some kind of disease, he took his friend to the veterinarian for a check-up.

But the doctor reassured the elderly man by telling him that the dog had a genetic mutation. It does not cause harm to the body. Hearing that the dog was healthy, the old man was incredibly happy. But the gigantic size of his four-legged friend does not scare him.
