Proof of Work requires no luck. The result is exactly what you put into it. You got this.

well, there is a bit of luck involved with finding a winning hash for a block. your "luck" just increases proportionally with your effort

Not luck in my opinion. Statistical. The amount of work put in is a percentage of the hash. Percentage of hash = percentage of blocks found. Just my rudimentary understanding. Very happy to be wrong and learn something.

I agree with you. I think ultimately it comes down to how you view or define luck.

That’s completely fair. Luck to me is something out of our control that impacts an outcome without any logical reason.
