Private property and capitalism has lead to societal flourishing and improved living standards everywhere it is employed. The opposite is true for communism / socialism, although their stated goal is to improve the wellbeing of society as a whole they almost always lead to greater suffering.

Emm it’s resonate me now, in my country 🇮🇩 Indonesia, which has only been independent for 79 years, compared to developed countries that have been around for hundreds of years. The challenges are multiple, ranging from economic disparity, corruption, and geography in realising equitable distribution of wealth and freedom. People are forced to be resilient, because we have to catch up while taking care of domestic complexities.
