When I explain Lightning address to people, I always just say it’s “an email address you can instantly send money to anywhere” and they.just.get.it.

So why can’t I just setup a way to reliably collect bitcoin that might get sent to my regular, or any old email address, for that matter? Like why is this so hard? Interac accomplishes this somehow why can’t Bitcoin with a registry or something I can sign a transaction somewhere for nothing or a couple sats if anything to set it up? No? Impossible??!? 🤷🏼🤦🏼🤔
