have you both seen an instance here where a person gains _trust_ & then flips to the dark side of spam, porn or even the worst kind?
Yes. Happened a few times
uuuffff! i saw a sign of hashtag abuse yesterday. all sorts of vanilla hashtags but advertising sicko content.
Hashtag spam happens often. If you are using Amethyst there is an option to report content, which can help other users avoid those posts.

That would at least require a longer time commitment, making it more difficult. Not perfect, but better.
