Damn. You joined back around the time I first joined. It may have been in September though? Things were NOT ready for normal use, IMO. I was confused and noped out right away. That key is long gone.

i was soooo jealous for people on damus. they had likes. we didnt. funny now how were going toward removing likes again.
also i remember being so confused using Anigma (telegram chat like), going back to astral and seeing my page was full of out of context posts bc the original event wasnt getting relayed there.
I used Astral all through December and most of January. It's fallen very far behind. I miss @monlovesmango. I wonder if they just got very busy and are unable to continue to work on it? They were very nice and helpful with features in the beginning. It was the first client to have Lightning tips on individual posts!

Astral was nice but it just became unusable for me. After that, android apps change everything.

I've been around since the 2021 hacker news influx. ar that time there were hundreds of pubkeys and thousands of events. I don't have a good sense of the history before that time, but since then there have been several bull runs. interesting point is that the unique pubkey count is in theory monotonically increasing. truly number go up technology. but in practice, some older ones are lost as relays crap out and occasionally lose content.
I'll go back through the archives and try to identify some of the pre-jack bull runs.
