Pretty sure that Orwell knew perfectly well what was going on in the oh so liberal West. 1984 was basically disclosure:

The Tartaria theories are extremely intriguing. Not sure it's particularly feasible even if history has been skewed, but man, it's interesting.

I'm not all in on Tartaria either. Works as an umbrella term to describe a certain narrative.

Maybe there was some Millennial Reign type of scenario where all these buildings where created. I don't know. All I know is that the official narrative doesn't make sense once you start looking at its roots and seeing the patterns of falsification.

I agree entirely. I'm also integrating this concept in the novel series I'm working on. I've been interested in 'alternate history' ever since I heard the Phantom Time theory.
