Check out Lightning Node Connect as a snappy alternative. It's bundled in the Lightning Terminal app

Cool I'll check that out. This node runs on EmbassyOS, so not sure if that's supported.

Hey cool, I got it to work! Thanks :)

Hmm so how does this work? I assume that it's going over clearnet and therefore this "Mailbox Server" aka terminal proxy can see my node's IP? I see you guys are running one at lnc.zeusln.app:443

Heya, wouldn't mind a response on this. Still yet to read the spec.

Is my understanding correct that the Lightning Node Connect "Mailbox Server" aka terminal proxy can see my node's IP? I see you guys are running one at lnc.zeusln.app:443

Feels like a good use case for Tunnelsats if this is the case.

Yes on the IP. Can be mitigated with a VPN. But also can't really be correlated to a node unless that's the same IP being used to connect to LN on port 9735 from our understanding. So Tor only nodes don't have to worry about this as much.
