Tried a few popular clients that I haven’t used before and couldn’t figure them out as a new user. Couldn’t even find anyone to follow or surface any decent content.
Won’t name them but doing a first time user deep dive soon on every popular client.

Interested. I want nostr to work but finding it might be too early for me in UX terms.
If I were a client developer I’d be testing my onboarding once every week (hopefully with other people) and not even worry about any other feature until onboarding works well.
Onboarding is so hard. When devs get it right it looks so easy 😤
I’m huge fan of Damus. But yesterday at #Zapan I used sort.social on my PC at first time. It was also nice client 😊
Snort is getting there but poor performance for me most of the time. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. Sometimes it works!
To be honest, I tried to set up first setting on snort with my second account. It was so hard even I’m on Nostr for a few month. So I use my old iPhone to set up 😅 (After first setting, it looks ok and fun to use) So I’m sure new person might be confused more than me.
