The most charismatic men I’ve ever met are never the ones looking away first when shaking people’s hands.
If you do that, you signal that the person you’re talking to is not worth your time and attention.
But what if that person is a venture capitalist with deep pockets potentially interested in funding your business?
It’s common for these charismatic people to even chat for a bit or ask some questions when meeting new people even if they might assume that you’re just some “nobody” not bringing anything to the table.
The reason for their charisma and success is that they believe in everyone’s potential to contribute.
When they enter a social gathering or event, they’re not first “doing the rounds” of talking to the people they already know, but addressing and vibing with the people that happen to be in their immediate proximity.
