Never would have happened without the internet. Record labels would have been all 'meh'. Dude would have given up eventually and went back to doing whatever else he does for money. But now days you can just upload shit on the internet and people like it and make it go viral.

It’s amazing when it happens. It’s one of the things that makes me excited for Nostr, because it further limits the systems that curate and manipulate what people see and hear.
