I don’t think nostr will become a dominant “social media” any time soon or maybe ever, because you have to think critically about normalized stuff in order to want to even use it. And then using it requires more thinking!

But that doesn’t bother me. First of all i could be wrong, and secondly, it’s not so bad being among people who think about stuff

I try not to think about stuff, I think I got here by accident.

Thinking good. I think 💭 lol No but seriously cyber intelligence is lacking these days and Nostr seems to be one of the few on the internet where critical, creative and crazy thought and expression remain organic and unfiltered

I’m not so interested in it being social media. I’m more interested in relays replacing the status quo. Decentralize the internet.

I kinda like the small, close-knit community we have.

What I really like about my nostr experience is the fact that I'm just seeing the notes of people I follow.

No algorithms that try to catch my attention, no advertisements, lots of value4value.

That was what first drew me in also, even before Twitter became Xitter™️
