Testing out Peach, a P2P Bitcoin trading app without KYC allowing Amazon gift cards as payment (among other fiat methods).

It's not a Tor site like Robosats and it has trading limits since it's regulated under Swiss law but they're pretty reasonable for monthly sat stashing.

Only thing I don't like is lack of transparency. I can create buy orders and sell orders but there's no public order book like Robosats has. Instead you have to wait to matched automatically.

A cool thing I do like is you can put up a cash order to be arranged at a Bitcoin meetup. I expect this type of type of thing to become more common with Orange Pill now adding events etc.

The best non-KYC Bitcoin is Bitcoin paid for in cash and sent to a fresh wallet. Coinjoin/Joinmarket for extra OPSEC.

Have you considered CashApp? Relai? I've been wondering about the options 🤔 difficult to see what's best for UK. And we don't have the strike option

Tried CashApp. They tried to KYC me first time I used it where sent out an amount under the amount their own site claims doesn't need verification.

Revolt requires KYC too and I've seen a lot of bad reviews.

If you wanna send your fiat from a KYC source might as well use BACS on your bank account or a secondary one like Monzo who seem fairly decent.

Whole point of these P2P markets is no need to dox yourself just to buy Bitcoin.

I **believe** relai is non-kyc, can't say for sure tho cos not tried and not looked into fees

Relai is non kyc, but has a centralized bank account : your bank knows exactly what you're doing

I think I heard CashApp was maybe similar but your bank doesn't know what you're doing with your cash in cash app(?)

If you send to cashtags they def keep a record that Alice sent Bob $100. But yeah if you use it as payment on Robosats they obviously got no idea that money was used to buy BTC.

Relai is light KYC below 1000 € so to speak.

You jsend a bank wire, so they know your real identity.

I suppose maybe that is why CashApp is slightly more obfuscated cos it's not only/ known solely as a bitcoin buying app(?)

Yeah, I've not tried CashApp, just heard it was kyc-ish and low fees. Low fees was what tempted me most not gonna lie

Hey Xanny! Matches are not "auto" on Peach, it works a little bit like tinder. Both buyers and sellers can publish orders, and the buyer will select manually the seller depending on premium, payment method, reputation..

Ah okay thanks for the correction. UX on the buy side makes it feel auto since there's no view of the order book.

Out of curiosity I've tried peach once. I bought few sats paying with Amazon gift card.

It worked well.

Peach doesn't run Tor web site afaik.

Comparing to robosats, you use same identity in 🍑 everytime you buy sats which I don't like so much..

Yeah Peach is more geared towards ease of use on mobile while Robosats is more focused on OPSEC.

You always trade some security for convenience. Still lightyears ahead of any KYC CEX regardless so very useful option to have on mobile.

At my laptop it's Robosats no question.
