How goes the transition for California citizens to take over the jobs previously held by (mostly) Hispanic immigrants? That is the state where I learned, 'immigrants are important because they do all the jobs we don't want to do'. I was doing other things at the time so produce processing and dish washing didn't appeal to me, yet it does seem more lucrative/peaceful of a job than driving and parking in rush hour/downtown traffic to pick up and deliver people working other jobs their take out food orders.
