Have been off of Instagram since I got banned a couple of months ago and have never used TikTok or YT Shorts. One of the best decisions I've ever made in my life.
But definitely keep your kids away from them. My soon to be 6-year-old nephew watched YT Shorts too much and started making death threats and bomb threats.
I wish we could back to VHS and MP3 players so badly.
I use 90s tech all the time lol! And modern updates on it. Nothing beats a Walkman.

I don't like the 9:16 (short form) framing one bit either. It's a scourge and should die off. Sadly it gets eyeballs though compared to long form though.
Long form 16:9 content any day.
