The only reason tiktok was taken over in the USA is because tiktok didn't suppress or control the narrative. The algorithm just delivered content, well.

This sheer act of taking over shows how controlled and propagandized America actually is.

Why buy the narrative? Sure it was exposing AIPAC and Israel, but to actively take over a private company because you need to control the narrative is exactly communism.

I heard the same thing as mar, that TikTok in China promotes 'the best of the best of youth' and TikTok here is often a cesspool of degenerates, and the difference is in the algos coming out of China.

I don't use it, but I've seen quite a few examples and many of them are definitely people most would consider degenerates.

I'm not on either side of this argument because I don't have enough knowledge or experience with TikTok to have high confidence, but if China was using it as a way of disrupting and degrading our society, that's not free speech, that's infiltration by a foreign power and the differences in the algos should be rather easily provable.

At what point did you give up personal decision making and choice to the government?

How is this not communism?

Surely it should be up to the individual to decide what is degenerative or not, especially when exposing Israel and AIPAC?

Or is that not recommended policy?

I've never used Tiktok, but it's always been my choice. Here, when someone uses Tiktok, it's a controlled version of the original.

The idea that China is degrading your society, is funny. Last I checked did you have state laws that let you speak out against China or Israel?
