Already read that particular series multiple times. 9.6/10

When I first read it I thought wow this has elements of Star Wars, dune, alien and a lot of great sci fi. He made a great mashup of these concepts. Only to realize that all these ideas came from Jodorowsky. Brilliant. Really enjoyed the documentary. He’s so passionate. He was 84 at the time of the making of the doc and seemed so young. Very smart

Sorry but I'm confused. Jodorowsky made a doc about himself making a movie in 70s? And he also wrote a graphic novel that's similar to dune? So lost my apologies

Documentary about the failed attempt of that movie in the 70s. Made in 2013.

He started working on graphic novels after the failed attempt of the movie.

Not similar to dune per say but elements of the sci fi universe or characters yes

Lynch’s Dune came out in ‘84. That one was green lit when Jodorowsky’s failed
