Nostr isn't going to blow up because one small Bitcoin creator goes Nostr only, we already have ample proof of that. For the reasons I already laid out, crippling his reach and opportunity to make money doesn't seem like it makes sense.

I don't hold any ill will towards creators who actually want to make money and have an audience. Nostr doesn't provide that yet, and one person making the switch isn't going to fix it. It seems silly to put that weight on his shoulders.

I never said he should go nostr only. And I never said he should cripple his reach. Just spend a little more time on nostr. Not a big ask.

Yeah I'm not sure about why he's not here as much, maybe he has more important thing to do with his life. Maybe creating the content and running his business takes up his time, maybe he has family commitments that make that not possible. There could be a multitude of reasons.

I see this attitude a lot on Nostr, that creators should give up their own valuable time to make Nostr a success, and I don't understand it. How many hours a week do you set aside to help market Nostr? Myself, being just a user and a shit poster, set aside none, because I'm just here to have fun. And I don't see how hassling those same creators who actually take the time to at least have a small presence here helps either. Maybe that's why Nostr has relatively little content, and people leave in droves.
