I love it how I use a VPN to access everything in the bitcoin world, but whenever I have to interact with my fiat accounts most of the apps don’t work unless I turn it off.

There is no expectation of privacy when using the legacy system.

They could fix this with only a pair of keys (pub/priv) ... but they lost track of you or who is doing the action... they don't trust in you, and need that you trust in them. Bitcoin fix this :) as you know
