That's legitimately one of the beauties of nostr, in my opinion. If you don't follow somebody, you don't see their shit unless somebody you follow reposts it.

There are plenty of accounts that I don't follow but all of their best stuff ends up in my timeline anyways because people i follow repost it. which I'm totally fine with I just don't want to see them post all the time because I might find it slightly annoying.

I follow the people I follow because I like their taste.

They presumably follow ego they follow because they think that person has good taste.

So I only get the best of the best. 🤷🏽
