Are you referring to the MicroStrategy thing? If so I would like to understand why as well. Seems like something like Nostr would do the trick.

nostr could to an extent with badge assignments for ids but fails on permissionless distribution along with update and delete

Maybe Nostr devs can watch how MicroStrategy develops its protocol and make something similar?
