Generally, #Nostr has become flooded with so much investment money, that it's skewing the product designs away from Average Joe User and toward more lucrative "social media celebrity" targets.
That's why they don't fix anything, when we plebs complain. We are not the target userbase. Nobody cares what we think.
They used to be doing it for the homies, on a shoestring budget. Some of us still are.

honest confession, I feel you. When I open my feed with no filter, simply global: everyone is on either politics or money related content. Yes, we are the algo and I spent incredible time on here finding the people other than those topics. Don't get me wrong, I have no issues with politics nor investments. They are crucial but if it is always on your face and searchability of other topics are not that easy, it can get too much. I love the connections I have built here in such a short time but I feel as though this is limiting #nostr 's true potential. ❤️🫂✌️
