When the Roman Empire was falling there were still citizens of the empire chilling at the gladiator stadiums watching mindless entertainment. They did not know the empire was falling until the raiders entered the stadium and murdered them all.

Yup, now that the "crypto/bitcoin" future in US has been loudly publicly and with 0 encryption announced, the riders with 1M/btc prices must be only months away from the stadium. And then there will be less and less farmers willing to sell food for USD (hyperinflation).
And yet, I would have been happier if corn price had gone to 220k earlier this year and gone back to 180k by now. While I know the generation of 2024 is not going all in, is not proper bitcoiners, 50k still feels unfair to the generation of 2021.
