Pay with Lightning. For sender it offers pretty good privacy.
Unless you use:
* a custodial wallet
* an LSP
* a 1 hop route through a very big captured node
It should mostly be fine for most threat models but there's still a lot of caveats.
Even custodial Lightning wallet will offer better privacy than Samourai Wallet with default settings (not connected to your own node).
A custodial wallet gives you as much privacy as paypal. Privacy from everyone else except the custodian.
You don't have to use samourai wallet for whirlpool. You can use Sparrow or Bitcoin Keeper.
And I don't understand why we are dicussing pros and cons using "default settings", that is a useless point.
