I think people who are comfortable using a centralized custodial crypto exchange would be comfortable with having their keys hosted if they had a TOS about how they owned them and kept a backup copy offline. Most early adopters wouldn’t do that but normal people would.

I've been thinking about this. If we're going to try to onboard norms who don't have any crypto experience, we're probably going to need an option for them to have a traditional oauth login while they're educted on private keys and get them comfortable with self custody. Are there already better options available? I'm wanting to build something and honestly do not want to have that point of failure but also want to be focusing on onboarding the masses.
