Music lawsuits are so dumb. Everyone copies everyone.
There is no such thing as a new idea. It is impossible. We simply take a lot of old ideas and put them into a sort of mental kaleidoscope. We give them a turn and they make new and curious combinations. I just listened to Lana's song and it is absolutely a melody rip off of Radiohead's Creep. I heard it right away.

I will say, Lana’s song about battling addiction has lyricism that surpasses a song about a guy’s unrequited obsession with a girl from his college
I say this as someone who’s a fan of both artists. I knew Radiohead long before I knew who Lana was. But facts are facts. One song had to give writing credits and royalties, while the other didn’t.
