What the fuck is e cash and why wouldn’t you just use BTC?

a *trust required* bearer digital cash note that works well when integrated with Bitcoin. it adds a layer of privacy. ecash notes can be received p2p and redeemed for Bitcoin in the ecash mint with some pretty good privacy tradeoffs. ecash mints can be run by anyone and easy to spin up & self host.
ecash users are bitcoiners! privacy tools are important for freedom.
